Mission Statement

New Life Institute promotes reconciliation, restoration, and renewal for those seeking healing and growth. Centered in the Austin metropolitan area, our services include counseling, mediation, education, and spiritual direction, using a multidimensional approach to emotional well being and spiritual wholeness. New Life Institute is dedicated to serving those who cannot otherwise afford quality, professional mental health services.

Associated with the United Methodist Church (Austin District), New Life Institute serves people regardless of faith orientation or practice.

Upcoming Events

As promised, we are beginning to get things organized in the new location (see address above). Two new group opportunities are now in place.

Smoking Cessation classes, delivered by Dr. Deborah Stote, are now scheduled for May 20 and May 21. The details may be found on the Groups and Workshops page.

On June 4th and 7th New Life Institute will hold a free workshop, Expressive Writing for Health and Well-Being, which will be led by staff member, Frederick Bryan, MA, CAPF, LPC–I. The details may be found on the Groups and Workshops page.

A new semester is coming, which means that students who work with us, being supervised and seeing clients, will also be changing. Check our staff page for new arrivals.

Other programs are being formalized and will be announced soon. In the meantime, the normal program of counseling will be on-going. Please call the office (512.469.9447), in the mornings, to arrange for appointments.

Also, career counseling, pre-marital counseling, and anger resolution for men are beginning to take shape. Call for information, or see material listed elsewhere in this website.
